  6.      Emperor Hui-tsung was 
  7. well-versed  in  the  arts, 
  8. excelling in both painting 
  9. and calligraphy.  In
  10. calligraphy he developed a 
  11. highly individualized and 
  12. very elegant style known
  13. as "slender gold," a style 
  14. which became much 
  15. admired.
